Dr. Haus is a Certified Wildlife Biologist® who specializes in the ecology of large mammals, particularly white-tailed deer. His research and instruction focus on applied big game management. He also has an interest in emerging GPS telemetry technology and analytical methods used to study animal movement. Dr. Haus has been a faculty member in the Biology Department at Bemidji State University since 2019. He currently serves as the President of the Minnesota Chapter of The Wildlife Society.
