You can workin teams of two to four. You are to prepare a spreadsheet with data. Your calculations in the spreadsheet include: totals, mean, median, mode, minimum, maximum, range, standard deviation. These calculations should be row and column calculations. You are then to devise a method to estimate the number of M&Ms in a big bag. In a word document you will describe your methodology and conclude with your estimate total M&Ms and your estimate of the number of each color: blue, brown, green, orange, red, yellow. Your explanation of your methodology should include at least one graph of the data to help you explain your calculations. |
