Financial engineering is responsible for developing new products, trading strategies and major financing deals. A financial engineer developers a solutions for a specific client's needs. They often work as part of a team including: attorneys, underwriters, tax specialists, accountants, compliance officers, capital market personnel, traders, financial analysts, computer programmers, and information managers. Careers in financial engineering usually start as researchers, junior financial analysts and other financial management trainees.
