The middle level endorsement at Bemidji State University can be pursued as an add on
license.

Professional Education Middle level Endorsement Core

ED 3417 Teaching and Learning in the Middle School (3 credits)
ED 4737 Content Area Reading (3 credits)
ED 4840 Student Teaching – Special Fields, Middle School (5 credits)

Mathematics content courses

M3064 / 5064 NUMBER CONCEPTS FOR TEACHERS
M3065 / 5065 MATHEMATICAL FOUNDATIONS OF ALGEBRA FOR TEACHERS
M3066 / 5066 GEOMETRY AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE MATHEMATICS CLASSROOM
M3067 / 5067 DATA INVESTIGATIONS, PROBABILITY, AND STATISTICS FOR TEACHERS

These are all 4 semester credit courses. They can be taken at the undergraduate
or graduate level and the cost varies depending on how you take the classes.
The cost of an undergraduate credit is about $250 and the cost of a graduate
credit is about $350. Fees are additional cost.

Also, you will need to subscribe to TASKSTREAM.

After you successfully complete the course work, you would then need to
take and pass the appropriate middle level math test.
