Susan Carol Hauser is a Professor of English at Bemidji State University,
chair of the English Department, and director of the Minnesota Northwoods
Writers Conference. She is the recipient of two Minnesota Book Awards and
a Jerome Foundation Travel & Study Grant, is a Charter Resident of the Anderson
Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, a past-commentator on National Public
Radio, and has a Master of Fine Arts degree in poetry from Bowling Green
State University in Ohio.
