Welcome!

Welcome to my home page. I’m pleased with it’s design and lay-out. I’ve been a web page laggard for too many years so I asked the designers from Bemidji State University's Academic Technology Center to bring me up to speed. They patiently worked with me to present information about my professional career in a colorful and accessible form. I hope you find what you are looking for and have any questions answered as you scan through.

I'm a Professional Counselor who has enjoyed a career in undergraduate psychology departments teaching applied psychology courses. Applied psychology provides practical solutions to human problems. I have developed courses that emphasize interpersonal skills training in an atmosphere of personal growth. These courses are intense learning experiences with close supervision. They are time consuming and challenging. As I near retirement, I hope to leave a training philosophy which younger faculty find relevant in the education of applied psychology students at Bemidji State University.
