Behavioral and Cognitive Intervention*

This course is about an intervention approach.  If it were about a collection of techniques and tricks it would be called "Behavioral and Cognitive Interventions," most of which would likely be used without an understanding of their underlying mechanisms.  The techniques are effective when used properly.  An understanding of the science (neuroscience, actually) on which B&C Intervention is based is necessary to maximize proper use of techniques, troubleshooting and the ability to adapt interventions as needed.
